Bigg Boss 19 Latest Update: Arshad Warsi Returns After 18 Years To Host Weekend Ka Vaar As Salman Khan Busy With Shoot

This weekend, Bigg Boss 19 will see a rare hosting change: Arshad Warsi is returning to anchor Weekend Ka Vaar after nearly 18 years. Warsi first hosted the very first season of the show in 2006. 

He’ll be joined by Akshay Kumar, his co-star from Jolly LLB 3, for the episodes airing September 13 & 14.  The duo are stepping in because Salman Khan is currently unavailable — he is shooting for his film Battle of Galwan in Ladakh, which prevents him from returning to Mumbai for the Weekend Ka Vaar segment this week. 

Warsi’s comeback is being greeted with nostalgia, as many viewers remember him for his humour and candid style during the first season. The change is also timely: both Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar are in town promoting Jolly LLB 3, whose trailer has just been released and which will hit theatres on September 19. 

The Weekend Ka Vaar episodes remain among the most eagerly anticipated parts of Bigg Boss, often influencing the direction of the game with eliminations, confrontations, and dramatic reveals. With Warsi and Kumar at the helm this time, expectations are that they’ll bring a fresh dynamic to the show while also giving viewers a taste of the show’s early flavour.
